I officially digs Twitter!

I met this wonderful woman: Tracy Renee Jones (to be exact)

She’s DOPE!

Like Me + A Few Years

Anyway, I wrote this piece “Words Are Art” & She added to it

“Jazzy Word Play”

by Jaz Taylor & Tracy Renee Jones

Words are as beautiful as any artistic work I’ve ever seen.

[Even more beautiful is the various ways of implied meaning.]

I love how they dance about the page and such.

[Or just sit there not saying much.]

In all their wordy ways and mannerisms.

[Or being naughty and causing malapropisms.]

I see colors and characters

[Humps and grumps]

The Letter “M”

[and his twin “W” with the reverse lumps.]

Words have so much personality.

[Surviving through immortality.]

[Conveying wisdom and principality.]

[The hate words should be considered an illegality.]

Some phrases dance joyously around the page

while others [stare back at me; their meaning quite strange.]

Like “Pomp & Circumstance remain poised & regal.

[Like people; words.]

[No two of them are equal.]

They speak to each other, and (at times) allow me to join in.

[Sometimes their meanings fight me; and usually I win.]

Some of them don’t like being next to each other

[like a pesky, younger brother.]

So i have to switch em out so they won’t stage a revolt

and walk right up off my page! [Potential femtovolt.]

I know this all sounds quite crazy and weird.

I would not be surprised if (said) readers of this post

felt it to be a ploy to seem even more artsy

and odd-ballish than I already am…

“There goes Jaz with that Martian From Saturn shit again”

Truth is, if I had your eyeballs fixed in my sockets & your brain snuggled neatly below my scalp, I’d feel the same.

Words are what excite me.##

“I always wanted to draw but couldn’t, so I decided to paint my pictures with words.”
